Steve Jobs resigned from his post as CEO of Apple on Wednesday (08/24/2011). He announced his resignation through a letter sent to the Apple board.
“I always say, if one day I can no longer perform the duties and expectations as CEO of Apple, I’ll be the first to say so. Unfortunately, that day has come,” he said in the letter.
